What is paint correction?

Our paint correction service is the permanent removal of scratches, swirl marks, holograms, marring, hazing and oxidation. At Dynamic Detailing Sydney, we pride ourselves in achieving the best result possible from this service.

How does it work?

The paint correction process begins with the first initial wash and decontamination. For the paint correction process to be as effective as possible, the paintwork must be absolutely free of all contaminants.

Once the vehicle is contaminant free, we can begin the paint correction process. Through machine compounding, polishing and refining, this is where the removal of paint defects is achieved. All paints are different, and no two cars are the same. We determine what level of paint correction is needed based on many variables.

What level of paint correction does my car need?

To determine the level of paint correction your car needs, we first need to inspect it for the different kinds of defects present and the severity of them. Each type of paint defect and its severity require different techniques and stages of paint correction to rectify.

How long does it take?

There is no pre-defined time for how long a paint correction service takes. The severity of paint defects, size and complexity of vehicle, and even colour will determine how much time is required to rectify them. Time taken can range anywhere between 6 hours to multiple days.
